EXCELLENTVerified Indika better than most Full day visiting the spice garden, temples, climbing Pirdurangala rock to see amazing views over Sri lanka and Sigiriya Lion Rock, Minneriya national park and wild elephant spotting as well as a local lunch and buying fruitsThe whole day Indika was friendly and polite and went out of his way to ensure I had an enjoyable experience. Pick up on time, safe driver (Janaka), very friendly and good English language. Decent tour which is not rushed. Janaka is knowledgable and explains things along the route and about the places you visit including the temples. The safari is epic and get to see lots of elephants in groups and got quite close without disturbing the elephants.The tour of the spice garden is definitely worth doing, interesting to see how many spices are grown and how curry powder and different medicines are made too, and can buy stuff after in the shop if you want to.Also a very good lunch stop along the way with high quality traditional food.We took a baby (9 months) and it is fine if you have a sling. Also Janaka took very good care of her and helped to hold her during lunch/safari.Thanks you Janaka! 5*sVerified Great Sigiriya tour!! Janaka is the best tour guide I have ever had.He picked us up early in the morning and gave us many experiences until late at night. All the places in the itinerary were covered, but you have the option to modify the trip depending on your time and preferences. Our chauffer-guide Tharuka Bandara was kind enough to get us to sample coconut, mangoes and organise a puja for us at the Matale Temple. He also helped arranged a safari to see elephants at Minneriya at a reasonable price. 10/10 highly recommended!Verified Private tour to Sigiriya and Safari! We were visiting Sri Lanka from the United States and I took a tour from Kandy to Sigiriya and the safari. We had the best time and got some amazing pictures. Our guidance spoke English very well and looked out for us at every stop. We appreciate him adding to our vacation with priceless memories. We were aware this was going to be one long day trip but Janaka made every moment of it light, enjoyable and beautiful. He is warm and friendly, full of local anecdotes and tips. He remained energetic and friendly till the moment he dropped us off and we are grateful to him for cajoling us into pulling off the last leg of our tour despite us being a little tired by then. The sights were amazing; a local South Indian temple, the view from Sigiriya top, the close proximity wild elephants and the gorgeous cave temple to name a few. Not to mention the sumptuous local lunch we had.
